Gragas, the Rabble Rouser

Gragas laneing phase is incredibly safe. Need to farm, throw a barrel. Enemy has too much health, throw a barrel. Want to clear out a bush that might have someone in it, throw a barrel. Basically Gragas has solved every problem in the entire LOL world with a generous application of mystical beer.

Gragas’ may have significant strengths but his weaknesses are equally significant. Counter one AP carries with a ranged auto attack. Nuff said. Counter two champions with a dash, blink, hop, skip, and a jump. Once he has thrown a barrel it will move slowly along a defined path until it reaches its destination and then explodes. Any champion that can even run quickly from side to side doesn’t have to fear the barrels too much. Counter three play the waiting game. Once he has decided to farm with an ability, instead of try and zone or hit you, his high cooldowns will leave him without an effective way to effective trade with you. Little by little you will push him out of lane and then he has to play catch up and focus even more on minions and not you (lather, rinse, and repeat).

- He has great burst damage.

- He is rewarded with health and mana regeneration for using abilities.

- His ultimate displaces entire teams.

- He willingly shares his home brew with others.

- He is naturally tanky due to drunken rage.

- His body slam is basically a free flash every 7 seconds

- He is a melee AP carry.

- He telegraphs his long range abilities.

- His cooldowns are rather high.

- If he throws a bad ult, your team is screwed or the enemies laugh at you.
