Swain, the Master Tactician


Swain focuses on prolonged fights using dot attacks rather than burst his target down like most AP carries. He can be hard to kill utilizing slows, stuns, and spellvamp as enemies come into range. As he is often found right in the heart of battles, he tends to be tanky and virtually unkillable. Playing Swain will surely ruffle some feathers (Insert knee slap here).

Swain relies on his ultimate to keep him alive while his dots tear down his enemies. As such healing reduction such as ignite or miss fortunes impure shots shut him down quicker than he can take down enemies. Teaming up against swain is most effective as most burst mages can’t drop him with a single combo unless he doesn’t have time to heal back to full between your attacks.

- His opponents often don’t notice how fast they are dying due to dot abilities.


- He turns into an enormous mutant, bird thing.


- He can out sustain his lane opponent as long as his mana holds out.


- His walk animation shows him using a cane to move around this subtle visual queue causes players to believe he is much slower than he truly is.

- His ultimate forces him to be much to close to the front of the battle to be affective.

Toggle: Swain transforms into the form of a raven. During this time, up to 3 lesser ravens strike out at nearby enemies each second, prioritizing champions. Each raven deals 50/70/90 (+0.2) magic damage and heals Swain for 75% of the damage dealt against champions, and 25% against minions.


The cost to sustain Ravenous Flock increases by 5/6/7 mana each second.
